GroupM is looking for a Media Buying, Trading & Accountability Manager who will join the Investments department. The candidate will report directly to Head of Investment, operationally report to the Head of Accountability and will follow the different areas of expertise.
 
Main duties  
  • He/She will be in charge of monitoring buying and trading performance and dynamics, focusing on Benchmarking and Auditing Costs.
  • He/She will be involved in the projects development to support new buying approaches related to the fast evolution contexts of the advertising market.
  • More precisely:  
  • Monitoring of Clients Buying Performance, according to Cost Commitments
  • Analysis of KPI and Added ValueDevelopment of Accountability strategy
  • Management of Auditing and Benchmarking
  • Media Buying Pitch management
  • Contribution to Data Gathering and Data Automation development
  • Development of Reporting System and Monitoring Performance tools
  • Buying strategies management and involvement in complex negotiations
  • Management of advertising sales companies’ relationships
  • Management of trading activities and GroupM proprietary media
 
The Media Buying, Trading & Accountability Manager will interface with all internal and external GroupM’s stakeholders, with the Head of Investments and Head of Accountability, with the client leads of any GroupM agencies, as well as the main players in the market (advertising dealers and associations as UPA, UNA, FCP). Furthermore, he/she may be involved in the GroupM international relationships.
 
Qualifications  
  • Consolidated and in-depth knowledge of the advertising market dynamics
  • Knowledge of all media and new digital trends
  • Strong analytical skills helpful to building insights
  • Precision and eye to details
  • Strong problem-solving abilities   
  • Good abilities in communication and relationships
  • Strong team worker 
 
Languages & Technical skills:  
  • Fluent in English is a must (spoken and written)  
  • Good knowledge of market softwares (Nielsen Aqx, Arianna, Mcs, Msoft) 
  • Good knowledge of Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
